While I liked that it came with two activities (boating and jeep riding), neither seemed very Alaska specific as I felt like these activities could have been done anywhere where there is a lake and rough roads. The canoe was cramped with at least 10+ people, and we were going so slow that it didn't matter if people were paddling or not. The lake was pretty but it wasn't particularly scenic. The short "walk" through the forest was literally like a 5 minute walk through some trees. The "off-roading part", was fun for the first 5 minutes but seemed too dragged out...it just went on and on. We drove one non-scenic trail (just a bunch of bushes on both sides with nothing to really see) and then turned back around, which I thought was the end of the jeep ride but we proceeded to go down yet another non-scenic trail only to turn back around again. Aside from the cool "bumpiness" factor, there just wasn't much to this off-roading adventure.

Short canoe trip with some nice scenery to the shore where we walked through the rainforest. We love hiking, so it was nice to walk through and hear all about the land. Tour guides were knowledgeable. Before getting back on the canoe, we were treated to a small snack....delicious clam chowder and some of the best homemade berry jam. Wish the canoe trip was a little longer. Next leg was the Jeep tour. Definitely fun for an adventurous family.....bumpy and dusty, but lots of fun. About half way, you can stop and take pictures. Wish the Jeep tour was longer too. All around a fun excursion.

The canoe trip across the lake, the unique snack stop, and the short hike were v nice. The long Jeep portion was, in my opinion, a dismal failure. It probably is nice for folks that have never really experienced the outdoors. To my taste, it was a rough trek through deep brush that offered zero views except for 20 feet in front of the jeep. We eventually took a road that led to a beautiful view. That part was good. But we had to drive another worthless road first. A longer hike would have been time better spent.
