Overview

Let's raise a glass to history! This fun, informative and engaging 90-minute walking tour is sure to please anyone who wants to really get to know the local culture of Ketchikan. You'll embark on your pub crawl with a true local who will share the colorful history of the bar scene through stories and vintage photographs. You'll hear infamous stories of days gone by, facts of the prohibition era when the red-light district was in full swing and the legacy of many of Ketchikan’s most popular hot spots. Guests must be 21 years of age, have legal photo ID and be able to walk over the course of ¾ mile, flat terrain. Must dress for the weather.

Did the Pub Crawl last week from the Ruby Princess. Hamish was absolutely FABULOUS and made our experience truly a lot of fun!. Plus since he is a third generation local, he had a lot of good historical information about the area and the pubs we visited. Thank You, Hamish!!! YOU ROCK!!!

This was a great excursion, led by Jillian! The bars were very welcoming, and the history and the drinks were a great combination. Definitely recommend!

We went August 9, 2023. Our tour guide, Jillian, had a phenomenal knowledge of Ketchikan and it's history. The stops were interesting with great drinks. At our first stop Uncharted Alaska Distillery, we had a drink called Liquid Sunshine (LS), The first drink at each stop is included in the crawl. The second two LS drinks went down just a enjoyably as the first. Jillian's color commentary of the town and is history greatly enhanced the trip and she was very personable, without rushing us through the experience. I highly recommend this excursion.
