In spite of the long drive in the rain to get there, this turned out to be a really nice tour (booked through a cruise!). The weather was pretty bad, but we were told that was normal, and they provided raincoats. It was a really nice (and easy enough) paddle on a secluded lake. We stopped for snacks and a short hike and paddled back. It felt very "alaskan" and the scenery was amazing!!! I would highly recommend it!

Short story: Nervous about canoeing but now I love it. Rose is an awesome guide. Long story: Water activities make me nervous. So it was with trepidation I agreed to this tour with my friends. The canoes are large and sturdy in the water and I soon found myself enjoying paddling our way across the lake. We ducked into an inlet and took a close look at the indigenous flora. Rose was a wealth of knowledge in history, flora, fauna, and wildcraft.
