What To Expect

Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center

Your adventure starts with a van ride to the north end of Ketchikan to beautiful Clover Pass. You will be welcomed and led down to our waterfront facility and introduced to your tandem kayak and get a safety briefing from your guide.

Tongass National Forest

You'll quickly gain confidence as you paddle to Eagle Island. The protected waters of Clover Pass provide us with the opportunity to really enjoy the tranquil setting of the Tongass National Forest.

Kayaking around Eagle Island was our best excursion yet. The guide was very personable, professional yet he shared in the excitement and joy of the day. Charlie went beyond in making it a great experience for us. Two thumbs up.

Amazing Alaskan experience unlike any others BECAUSE: You are right on the water, close to the marine life as you can get. Kayaks are stable and easily used, having a rudder in the stern. KATIE and FAITH are your guides and they are cute as buttons. So grateful to have chosen this adventure!

Wonderful experience. The kayak was very easy to maneuver and our guide Chris made sure we were comfortable with the equipment before we departed. Scenery was awesome. Even saw a bald eagle doing some nest repair. Also, since ours was an early morning tour at low tide, we viewed hundreds of starfish along the shore. From pickup in downtown to drop off, we felt very at ease comfortable. Great conversation and again, the views were amazing. Would bring just about anyone here for a wonderful experience.
