Our favorite parts included KTā€™s patient guiding and the seal sightings. We also watched a gorgeous mama eagle land beside her husband near their nest.

This excursion made our Alaskan cruise! We kayaked with whales and it was amazing! We booked our excursion before we left on our cruise. We knew we wanted to kayak in one of the ports and after reading the reviews chose wisely with Southeast Exposure. Finding our way to our guide Jay, our guide was no problem. He was right off our boat to meet us. The drive was scenic and fairly short to the facility. After a quick kayaking lesson Jay helped us in our vessels. I agree with one of the reviews...this was the trickiest part ( getting in the kayak ) but not that bad. Then we paddled out in the water to the whales that were luckily swimming and feeding around Eagle Island this day. The experience is one I will never forget. I would suggest to bring a camera in a waterproof bag because you are going to want to take lots of pictures of this beautiful place and wear water resistant pants or bring an change of pants for after because you may get a little damp paddling around. Thank you Jay for sharing with us all your knowledge and insight to these amazing creatures and their beautiful habitat.

Jake and Dan were excellent guides on our fun kayak tour! They were very knowledgeable about kayaking as well as the area. They were helpful when it came time to get in and out of the kayaks(my least favorite part). We saw plenty of jellyfish and sea lions nearby as we kayaked through the beautiful scenery!
