Our group of 7 took this excursion from a cruise. It was lightly rainy but no wind. The kayaks have a rudder so they are easy to maneuver. We saw an eagle catch a fish then take it up to the nest and feed two eaglets that made a bunch of noise when fed. Our guides were Jake and Spike who were good at keeping the group together and informative.

It wasnā€™t bad, but definitely could have been better. There were several groups who have never been in a key ark before, so we spent a lot of time waiting for them, even though it was noted that this was strenuous. I also would have appreciated paddling around another island or 2, which we would have had time for if we didnā€™t spend so much time waiting.

Not the most organized of tour groups, but it worked out okay. Kayaks were very comfortable - we have kayaked extensively in Kauai and found Southeast Exposure's boats and equipment to be superior. Guides were nice-ish, but 'not that into it' as people say, by which I mean we were treated very much as tourists with the objective of obtaining a tip (hint, hint, hint...). But overall a fun excursion. Good, not great.
