What To Expect

Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center

Your adventure starts with a van ride to the north end of Ketchikan to beautiful Clover Pass. You will be welcomed and led down to our waterfront facility and introduced to your tandem kayak and get a safety briefing from your guide.

Tongass National Forest

You'll quickly gain confidence as you paddle to Eagle Island. The protected waters of Clover Pass provide us with the opportunity to really enjoy the tranquil setting of the Tongass National Forest.

Our guides, Nick and Nicky, took us on a beautifully crafted and informative tour of the coastline and ecosystem including sea creatures and eagles.

The sea kayaking was fantastic! The ride out to the island was equally adventurous. The 5 people in my family had a wonderful time. They were very accommodating, and were able to help my 11 year old daughter be successful. Ali and Eli were experts in not only kayaking, but the wildlife and surrounding areas. Not only that, but they just had a good attitude/vibe and were really easy to talk to. We had so much fun. 10/10!!!!
