The Key Largo Princess is a luxurious 75-foot, 140-passenger, glass bottom aluminum motor yacht.

A 45-minute voyage out to the reef gives you time to relax on our sun deck and sip a tropical cocktail or beverage from our full-service snack bar. If you prefer, you can ride in the comfort of our climate-controlled cabin.

What To Expect

Florida Keys

From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

Hop aboard the M. V. Key Largo Princess for our daily tour to view the exciting and beautiful underwater world of the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary.

SO MUCH FUN!!! This was the second trip for my Zumba class on the boat and we had an ABSOLUTE BALL!!! From start to finish, the office and boat crew were FABULOUS. First mate Nicole even joined us in a couple of dances and took excellent care of us! She also took most of the videos from our trip and we greatly appreciate that!!! The captain did his very best to keep us out of bumpy seas because we were dancing LOLOL! We are hoping our next class at sea will be November 16th for the 10:00AM trip and will be asking for Nicole to come dance with us again!!! The Key Largo Princess is a MUST DO while in Key Largo!

Was in key largo for the day and made a last minute reservation for the boat. The young woman in the gift shop was helpful and informative so we were off to a good start. However once on the boat we were speaking to the mate with the beard and a strong odor of alcohol was coming from him. I would think that crew members wouldn’t be able to drink during work hours but it is the Keys so I could be wrong. Then during the narration the girl doing it basically scolded us all for wearing the wrong kind of sunscreen. She was knowledgeable but just seemed a little too serious for what was suppose to be a fun excursion. All in all it was okay and maybe with a different set of employees it would have been better.

Sorry for your disappointing experience we will investigate as we do not allow drinking on duty. We also apologize if our crewmember passion for the ocean had gotten the better of her, we will speak with her. We do hope you will give us another try another time.
