This was a cute little aquarium. Part of it was closed for renovations so there wasn’t a huge amount to see but what they had was very nice. The staff was great. Great gift shop. It is worth the walk in the rain!

My one son wanted to go to the Aquarium so I bought tickets to this venue at the same time I bought our tickets to do the Trolley Tour. We started the Trolley at stop number one Mallory Square so it was only logical to go to the Aquarium when we got off again at stop one. Note: by buying the tickets at same time as trolley tour, we got $2.00 off per ticket. Let me say that this aquarium is sub par. I don’t think it was really worth the $15.00 I paid per four tickets. The aquarium is very small. There are two tanks that are open from the top as you enter. One filled with large turtles who have been hurt. One good thing was the presentation by staff. Very informative but less than fifteen minutes. The second was filled with sharks. Same thing - interesting but not in comparison to other well known aquariums. What was most disappointing was the outside exhibits are now closed. I don’t know what were in the outside tanks, but we will never know. It seems to me that they would really reduce the entrance fee since half of the place is not open to public. The aquarium was created as a travel destination in the 1930s. It needs to be greatly updated and improved.

We went here with a large group of adults and children, with ages ranging 10-16. The kids had fun feeding the sharks and the fish. The aquarium is not very big. We were here for about 30 minutes. The aquarium at our local zoo is larger and nicer than this aquarium. I would recommend if the weather is bad and you are in need something to do.
