It was a nice overview of Key West, but I thought it was a little pricey. The hop on hop off feature was great, but after 90 minutes, the last thing we wanted was to hop on again. I wish it ran at night, that’s when I would have enjoyed a ride back to my hotel.

We only had about 6 hours in Key West and we planned to use the Trolley as a way to connect between places we wanted to walk around. With our short stay, the stop\pickup schedule made this impractical. If you are in town for a couple of days this would be a great way to see everything in a day, but not on a short day trip.

This is a very good way to get around Key West, for a day. I wanted to see everything, but their is so much to see, what do I see first? We decided to drive around ourselves at 0600 in the morning just to get the lay of the land, but I did not know where to start. Later in the morning we purchased passes and decided to have the Trolley Tour point things out to us. This was a good idea, for guide showed us things that I never would have known otherwise. For example, at the very hotel I was staying at apparently had a large population Iguanas living there, who would have thunk. Sure enough the next day as I walked around the grounds with my coffee I noticed all the Iguanas. Also, later that evening, of the day I purchased my ticket, we were able to hop on the Trolley for a ride back into town to experience Duval Street. Although we had to get a taxi back, it gave us a different aspects and a variety having multiple guides. The Trolley was a very good idea and I recommend it for the first time visitors.
