America 2.0 is a beautiful modern replica of the original schooner. I was blown away when I first set eyes on her in port at Key West. A few hours later the wife and I were enjoying a a spectacular sunset cruise aboard America 2.0. The cruise was over 2 hours and I was offered and accepted a role in hoisting the sails and then taking the helm for a short period of time. We were offered various drinks and snacks as much as you wanted . The crew as very talented and proficient and extremely courteous to everyone. Fantastic experience and we'll defiantly do it again next year.

We have enjoyed several winters and a variety of different activities in Key West but a sunset cruise on the America 2 could well be the loveliest way imagineable to spend an evening in Key West..... The balmy weather was the perfect accompaniment for our 4/4/18 evening aboard and along with the captain & crews’ smooth-sailing skill and interesting comments, the great selection of drinks and snack platters, chances to take the helm, and stunning sunset views, we would, hands-down, say “Do NOT miss it!”

Much better than Mallory Square, unless you are with a very large group perhaps.... Great crew... they let everyone who wanted a turn steering the ship... decent food and plenty of drinks. I love sailboats and this appears to be the best of the ones for sunset cruises in Key West - however, it isn't an intimate experience... there are a lot of other people on board. I'm not complaining, but there are smaller sailboats offering sunset cruises that might be more to your liking if you don't want a crowd of people.
