Dotting the shoreline along the way, you can pick out pristine white and black sand beaches -- including Mahai’ula, Kiholo, Anaeho’omalu and Hapuna – to visit during your stay! Upon arriving to the lush landscape of Kohala, your pilot will not only show you its rugged coastline, home to dramatic valleys, but will also educate you about this region’s significance in Hawai'ian history as the birthplace of Hawai’i’s most famous alii, Kamehameha the Great. All guests weighing 270 lbs or more when weighed at check-in, will be required to purchase an additional empty seat less 15% before fuel surcharge to safely balance the aircraft. They will be guaranteed a window seat.
Seating is assigned based on weight and balance following guidelines which have been approved by the FAA. We cannot guarantee seats as the weight of guests must be balanced within the aircraft.
A seat upgrade is not a guarantee; however, if you purchase a co-pilot and/or window seat upgrades, we will do our best to seat you in your purchased location. If we cannot accomodate a seat upgrade due to weight and balance requirements for your flight (or for any other reason), we will refund your upgrade purchase at check-in.

My long-time friend came for a visit from the mainland and we chose to take a helicopter tour for our joint 60-year birthdays. I chose Paradise Helicopters to take us up. I'm so glad that I did. We originally were going to do the Volcano/Kohala with a landing, but due to weather concerns we shifted to the Kohala waterfalls with a landing. We had such a great time. Our pilot, Paige, was very knowledgeable and made the entire flight interesting and exciting. Speaking as an over 30-year resident of the island, the island looks much different from the air. You see parts that you never see from ground and it gives a different perspective to whole experience. I would recommend that anyone coming to the islands should try to take a flight; it really is a wonderful experience. Thank you Paige and Paradise Helicopters!

100% recommend doing any type of Helicopter tour from them! It's not only the best way to see the island but it's an awesome experience. Great people and I would do it again if I could! The views are gorgeous and it's definitely something you won't regret!
