So zip lining probably isn't at the top of most peoples' Christmas Day to-do list, but it's what we did Dec. 25 this year bright and early! Shanae and Briton were fabulous, friendly and helpful for all our group of three girls (7,7 and 11), three dads and us - grandma and grandpa. From getting equipment on, to explaining the zip, they made the nervous girls comfortable and by the end all had "soloed" in addition to making "tandem" (with another person) runs. It does help to be at least somewhat fit to climb at just one spot, but we had no trouble doing it. Fabulous views, some great explications of what you're looking at and lots of encouragement and support from the guides made it a great morning. The girls all said it was their favorite of the two weeks spent on the island. Thank you, Koloa Zipline!

Fabulous scenery and breathtaking rides between platforms! We started about 400 feet up and zipped past the trees down to ground level. The safety protocol was excellent, and the staff, while funny, made you feel totally safe. One note of caution: Be sure you are in good enough shape to handle the climb up the hill with all your gear! Most platforms also required some stair climbing as well. The entire experience took around four hours, including the van ride to and from the site. Excellent experience - a must while in Kauai!

The staff was friendly, gregarious, knowledgeable, made us feel totally safe. It was tons fun! Our family with kids ages 12 and 9 got out of our comfort zone by flying like superman, upside down or spinning and we were encouraged and cheered on the entire time. Plus covid safety/mask wearing was on point! It was so beautiful to see Kauai from a different vantage point and a fabulous experience overall.
