Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

It was definitely a fun experience of a lifetime. I would definitely do it again. I would suggest a wetsuit cause the water does get really cold after a bit cause.you aren't moving around.

I’ve swum with sharks and been close to stingrays, but this tour beats all that. The mantas swim so close to you. There are a lot of tour groups for manta rays, but My Kona Adventures works with small groups, and this made a huge difference in the experience as it’s easier and faster to work with smaller groups. They’re extremely well organized with lots of details and reminders along the way. Took us 5 minutes boat ride to get to the spot. 24 minutes with the manta rays, then 5 minutes back to shore. Plenty of time with the mantas. We were very lucky to see 9 different manta rays. I felt safe and well taken care of. Even when I messed up with some of instructions with the floats, they took care of it without any complaints. Eliza (check in), captain John, Peyton, and Chase were all very knowledgeable, experienced, and really seemed to enjoy their job which made it fun for us.

Had such a great time- the crew is amazing! Chase made sure we saw as many rays as possible. Incredible experience, you have to do it!
