Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

I just had to share an incredible experience I had! We started at Keauhou Bay and took a quick 5-minute Z-boat ride to a snorkeling area. During the ride, our guide Preston shared the origins of the manta ray night snorkel. His deep love and respect for the culture and marine life were evident. The crew was so friendly and put my 13-year-old son at ease. He was initially nervous about jumping into the water at night, but the crew's informative approach and emphasis on safety quickly reassured him. Once we reached the site, we were given a pool noodle and entered the water. We swam a few yards to a paddle board equipped with strong lights, and Preston guided us to the perfect viewing spot. As one of the only small groups there, we were treated to the magical sight of 3-4 manta rays gracefully gliding through the water, even performing barrel rolls inches from us and returning for multiple visits. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

This was an excellent adventure. The instructions we very clear and safety was their main goal. The manta rays are majestic!. The crew were friendly, helpfull and fun. We highly recommend mykonaadventures!
