Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

I went with two teenagers and we all had a really great time! The crew- Will, Mike, and Preston were all wonderful and our guides in the water very knowledgeable about the manta rays. We saw SO many and the guides knew them all by their markings. We felt safe the whole time and get like we were given sufficient time in the water. Easy check in and good communication. Would recommend for anyone wanting to see the manta rays!

Our crew was Mike, Eden, Preston, and Will. They were all very nice and knowledgeable. We saw a ton of manta rays and some other cool sea life. My kids are 8 & 10 and had a great time. My daughter even had an issue with our personal mask leaking and Preston quickly helped here gear up with a new mask and get back in the action.

The boat trip out was quick but wavy. Everyone jumps off the boat and swims over to a floating paddle board with LED lights on the bottom. This illuminates the plankton attracting the mantas to swim right under you. It’s magical.
