Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

This experience was awesome. I’m staying at the Kona outrigger so this was walking distance. Didn’t opt for a wetsuit and didn’t need it. The tour operator and boat crew were knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job explaining things and helping everyone. I was a little nervous since I’m not a strong swimmer but swim from boat to viewing platform was not too bad. We saw a lot of mantas.

Excellent chance to see manta rays. I have several scuba dives but never seen mantas. Average size had 3-4feet span. A few barrel rounded right up against you. Amazing!
