Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

Had a great time. Team was friendly and helpful. Our first snorkeling trip. We were nervous, but they put us right at ease. Manta experience was other-worldly. Gorgeous creature. Bonus, had a great chat with Nick at the end of the night. Can’t wait to see the video. Mahalo! Shannon LeMaster

We have done manta night snorkels with a Groupon with other companies and they were amazing. I tried this company because they were running the current Groupon. We did see mantas that put on a good show, but we’re highly disappointed with My Kona Adventures. With other companies we paid for an hour and got an hour in the water. With My Kona Adventures we paid for an hour and got 25-30 min in the water. They were constantly talking about wrapping up early and getting other groups out. It felt like they were more concerned with getting volume out to make money then actually providing a good service. There was no passion for the mantas or the experience, just a passion for the $$!! We were so disappointed since we have done this with other companies so we know how good this could of and should of been and wasn’t! Snorkel with the mantas, it is unforgettable but DONT give this company your money!

This is SO sad to read considering we took you on a re-ride! And just to make this clear it was NOT 25-30 minutes, the ad on groupon CLEARLY says how much water time you get and we time and track each tour. As for wrapping up? it is common practice with every company to give the guides in the water notice when they have time counting down. Now let me get into you saying all we care about is the money, shame on YOU! If we cared only about money we would be far more expensive AND we would not have a groupon ad out as I am sure you know we do not even make HALF of what you pay. So much for us only caring about money. WE are not one to get defensive but this is absolute ridiculous on your end considering we know that we went above and beyond for you and your family. You should really be ashamed Ln Graham. I am so disappointed that you would do this, honestly. What a shame! I want everyone to know something...GROUPON comes with a NO-RERIDE clause. We tell you over the phone and in emails. However, we absolutely dislike anyone walking away without seeing manta rays. We put this group out again, for FREE and still she leaves a review as such. We understand that we can not make every single person happy but I want everyone to know that we are NOT only about money as it mentions above and that we went above and beyond. We hope that anyone reading this will look at all of our other reviews and or reach out to us with any questions regarding your tour experience or questions you may have. Thank you!

Nick and his team are very professional and are extremely knowledgeable about the Mantas. We went out the first time and didn't see anything. Nick did not even hesitate when offering us another time to reschedule. When we went back the second night we had quite the show! The Manta stayed with us the entire time. Easily the highlight of our trip. I recommend this to everyone! My Kona Adventures has a smaller boat which is perfect. You can access more of the cove than the larger boats. If the Manta Ray's are not outside the cove you won't see them, but with Kona Adventures they can access the entire cove. Don't waste your time or money on other companies just go to the best! Also, do not book on your last night; just in case there are no Mantas, you want to be able to reschedule to see them!
