My husband and I and our two teen daughters did the manta night dive at 10:20pm in Kona. It was fantastic! We were all excited but a little bit nervous too. No need, the crew immediately made us feel at ease and their love and respect for the mantas was inspiring! We had the blessing of 4 different mantas visiting us. Amanda (one of the mantas) was huge and liked to get very close, she even brushed my elbow once. They were all so gentle, beautiful, and amazing creatures. An experience our family won't forget!

Such a cool experience! I wasn't really sure what to expect from this, and was pleasantly surprised. I love that they keep the groups small, especially after seeing all the other tours out on the water that had their boats just crammed full of people. Keep it small kept it personal and fun. I wasn't a huge fan of the ankle floaters, only because having my legs float in that way contributed to my seasickness, but I understand the need for them. The guides were wonderful and we had such a good time. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

We chose My Kona Adventures for our Manta ray snorking experience because they limit their participants to max. 6 persons per tour. We have seen another tour leaving the night we had our tour and that group was huge, which means your tour is a lot less intimate. The idea is you are provided a wetsuit, snorkelset and floaters around your ankles and you hang on to an aluminum railing which has lights on it. The lights attract plankton and the mantarays are attracted to the plankton. Mantaraya sare friendly, harmless animals and during our tour we also learned how majestic and gracefully they were. Never did we feel scared or in danger. The guys from My Kona Adventures are really good in making you feel safe, helping you with attaching your snorkelmask in the correct way and telling you more about the mantas. I would highly recommend My Kona adventures!
