Overview

Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

We used a Groupon, and sometimes that means that you are treated differently than other customers -- however, My Kona Adventures went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! They even called to let us know they were running early -- how often does that happen? Shannon towed us out to see a young Manta named Vicky after a close-up encounter with another Manta, and everyone we met was very knowledgeable and professional in the laid-back, warm Hawaiian way. Loved it! TIP: Book early!

We had four people in our party, one was an 8 year old. Everyone had an amazing time. We got to see many manta rays. Loved this experience. I was glad we had snorkeled the day before so we knew about the equipment a little before we went. My Kona Adventures supplied all the equipment we needed like wet suits and masks and snorkels. The guides were great. We would definitely recommend this adventure. This was one of the highlights of our Hawaii trip!

Such a unique and awesome experience! The entire My Kona Adventure team was so friendly and informative throughout the tour. Max helped us get checked in and suited up for the ride. It took 2 minutes to get to the location and you slide right off the boat and into the water. Shannon was already in the water waiting for our small group of 6. She was very knowledgeable about manta rays and marine life in general, giving us really cool information about the species they are and why they are comfortable when people come around. There are many other tour companies and I'm sure they are all great, but my wife and I loved that My Kona Adventure keeps their capacity at 6 so it's less crowded, and you get so much good information from the tour guide. It is truly an amazing experience as the manta rays will gently graze you if not get within inches of you as they are feeding on the plankton. This experience was definitely worth it and we thank Shannon and the rest of the crew for an exciting night!
