It was 5 of us (2 different families ） with 2 instructors (a primary, and an assistant). Our booking was from 11:30-2. We arrived well before our appointment and the primary instructor was already there. The other family didn’t arrive until 11:50. Then we went through the instructions, heading out to the water. My older child stood up on her first try. The younger one succeeded on her third ride. Both from the other family stood up on first few tries. I succeeded only on my last attempt before heading back to the shore. Overall everyone had a good time and really enjoyed it. The instructors are nice and fun— we liked them and wouldn’t hesitate to have a lesson with them next time. We did end up spending more time waiting for the waves to form— that’s just Mother Nature. Highly recommend Kona Surf Lessons. Oh, we originally booked for 12/24 because viator website allowed us to. Thankfully the instructor found out and called us early in the day to tell us about the mess up, and was able to squeeze us in for the next day— lucky for us our flight is 10pm next day.

This was an amazing experience with Kaleo. One on one instruction and learning about the area and it’s wave’s. Everyone in the area was having an incredible day. We recommend Ohana Surf Company to all our friends and family. And we will be back for more instruction and surfing with Kaleo.
