Awesome way to experience Hawaii! I came here alone at the start of a birthday trip and had a great time participating in the e-bike tour.
The grounds and vistas of this tour are so beautiful that my words couldn't do it justice, you just have to experience it. Out of all the tour options offered, I'm glad I chose the e-bike. I'm not a big ATV/UTV person (too loud) and those tours passed us and seemed to be in large groups. The e-bike group was quite small (maybe 6 or 8 people) and I felt like we could venture on some lower-traffic terrains where the other tours could not.
I'd ridden an e-bike once before but no experience is necessary. I'm 5 foot 6 and was fine, but you might have issues mounting/dismounting if you're under 5 feet tall. The "e" part of the e-bike helps a lot - this tour felt like the perfect balance of getting a good workout while being able to sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Many opportunities to stop and rest while taking photos. Was really cool to push my limits a little bit and ride on some narrow/steep trails, but most of the time was spent riding on pavement or gravel or grass. Beware you might get a little muddy from puddles! I had mud on my legs and the back of my shirt.
I think Jason was the name of our tour guide. He was great at setting expectations, taking photos, and engaging with the group!
Also, there's a good sized parking lot! No pull-through spaces, so shoutout to the staff member who kindly helped me back out my rental Jeep :)
