It was our first time on the big island and with so many activities to choose from, we are so glad that we chose this! It’s a close drive to Akaka Falls. It was a perfect secluded area and felt like a private waterfall just for us to enjoy. There was one other family there. The team was very welcoming and everything was very easy to navigate. The views were breathtaking and we got lucky enough that weather and conditions allowed us to swim in the water.. 10/10 experience! Will do again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a private waterfall oasis to swim, paddleboard, kayak and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The falls were really relaxing. Everyone enjoyed including the children. There were many opportunities for pictures. We only wish we had packed a lunch to sit and enjoy after the day of exploring.

The scenery was amazing, and we got to swim around the waterfall, which was so fun. I highly recommend it, or anyone who can hike 1/2 mile on a grassy path.
