Kulaniapia Falls is the largest, privately accessible waterfall in Hawaii, and the ONLY waterfall in the area that you can swim / kayak / paddleboard under when river safety conditions permit (rental fee applies for kayaks and paddleboards).

My wife and her sister swam at the falls. My son, his wife, and my brother in law enjoyed the trails. My mobility issues kept me at the lodge where I spent the day painting watercolors.

Lovely, quiet time. Waterfall with lovely pond sized lake with well maintained walking trails. Option for kayaking and water board.
