Kulaniapia Falls is the largest, privately accessible waterfall in Hawaii, and the ONLY waterfall in the area that you can swim / kayak / paddleboard under when river safety conditions permit (rental fee applies for kayaks and paddleboards).

The falls day pass was a great find! We enjoyed light hike around the grounds before spending time down at the falls. We brought our own lunch and ate down at the falls. We were also able to add a last minute couples massage that was a great finish to our day trip. All the staff were friendly and great resources for other things to do in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the falls and will definitely visit again. We pre-ordered a nice, healthy lunch and enjoyed it by the falls and pool. We loved being able to swim close to the falls and get photos from that perspective. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.

We loved the opportunity to swim at the waterfall!!! The walk down was beautiful and we loved seeing all the plants and bamboo trees varieties. Wear closed toe shoes and if your a little less fit bring a walking stick. Although, it’s an easy enough hike for most, kids included! We purchased the day pass, definitely worth it.
