Overview

Best Place Farms is home to KuneKune's, pronounced “kooney kooney”, a rare breed of pig that nearly went extinct in the 1970's. They're considered one of the most docile pig breeds, making them amazing pets and great for human interaction. Come meet our KuneKune's and learn why we love them so much!

You will also get to meet and interact with the other animals in the farm.

What To Expect

Best Clucking Place Farms

Welcome to Best Place Farms, home to the cutest KuneKune pigs in Hutto! You'll learn about the history of Kunekune pigs and what makes them so unique. If we have piglets that are living on the farm, you'll get to meet them too! We'll have treats prepared for you to feed the pigs and other animals on the farm! You'll also learn how to make them sit and get their treats. They love getting attention and being petted. Most of them will lay down and want their belly rubbed.

This is a sweet experience and very kid friendly. The kune kune pigs will let you pet them and will sit for treats. It’s possible to hold the little piglets too. I had never seen a kune kune pig before so this was a neat experience. The farm owner and her daughter gave us the tour and both were so kind and welcoming! I learned a lot about this special breed of pigs.
