PLEASE BE IN THE KAYAK SHOP 1 HOUR BEFORE TOUR START TIME, Allow time for parking and gear set up
Expect to get wet, please wear appropriate clothes such as a bathing suit and shoes that can get wet (tennis shoes, 'river shoes' or flip flops)
Hats, sun screen and towels are strongly advised
Please do not bring valuables and things that cannot get wet
There is a weight limit of 250 pounds per single kayak and 450 pounds per double kayak
For safety reasons, the tour operator does not guarantee going into the caves on tours. Entrance to caves is based on ocean conditions, safety, and participants ability as determined by guide.
Minimum age is 6 years for a double kayak and 16 years for a single kayak
All participants must be able to swim
Social distancing enforced throughout experience
Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
Gear/equipment sanitised between use
Guides required to regularly wash hands

Great kayak on a pretty day. The guides were excellent. Personable, professional and knowledgeable. Along with the kayaking, got a lot of information about the area. I thought they did a good job of making people comfortable.

So I decided to prebook a kayaking tour for 6 of us. We wanted to go Kayaking in La Jolla because of the Marine life and caves. It was a nice drive from OC and we booked the 9am tour. Tour guides were so attentive and accommodating We had a really good time. Do not bring things that you are worried of getting wet because most likely it will get wet. Bring a dry back and put all the cameras, drones etc in there. Once you leave the shore and are in your kayaks it's fine. But then when you have to go back to shore, you will need to ride the wave and may tip over. The tour was nice because you get alot of the history and points of interest from the tour guides. Very cool

It was a fun trip although a little light on the cave kayaking since that was the name of the tour, only one cave for 2 minutes doesn’t really warrant a cave tour. Helen was a sweet guide.
