Ellen Browning Scripps Park

This park was named for Ellen Browning Scripps, one of the most significant figures in La Jolla's history. Here, you'll find out how she is responsible for the neighborhood being what it is today, as well as how she made her fortune in the first place.

St James by-The-Sea Episcopal Church

This beautiful church, featuring a unique peach-colored belltower, dates back to 1908. Like so much of the neighborhood, it owes its existence to Ellen Browning Scripps.

Athenaeum Music and Arts Library

This beautiful Spanish-revival building is a must-visit for lovers of the arts. In addition its the huge permanent collection of art and music, the Athenaeum also features regular events, including jazz concerts, constantly rotating arts exhibits, and more.

This was the most amazing experience!! I was in town for work and was very short on personal time to see some local sights, but this experience completed my trip! The tour experience through the app was unbelievably well designed and so easy to use! I saw so much more than I would have been able to and learned so much history about Lake Tahoe. App cut out. We got ahead of some of the tutorial. Couldn’t find a spot to pull over and listen at some locations

Make app work even 10%. Frustrating going in circles for 45+ minutes to same 3 sites, very poor directions and description of site. Asking for Full Refund. Should ask for time and gas reimbursement too since it made our trip just awful.

It sounds like the location tracking permissions weren’t granted. This is an essential part of how the app works — by allowing the tour to know where you are, the right story will pop up and start playing.
