It was totally worth the drive from Downey. We kayak little less than a mile out to couple of big rocks, where sea lions hang out. The water felt fresh made me feel like taking a dive, but wetting my face was just the same. Awesome view from the private cove. Definitely coming back again.!!

Laguna Ethos was the perfect choice for my first ocean kayaking experience. I was originally nervous about ocean kayaking and had wanted to stick with a harbor tour. But I pushed through the nerves and was rewarded with dolphins sightings, beautiful coastlines, a baby sea lion spotting. Justin explained all the reasons that this cove was perfect for kayak launching and after answering all of our questions, he (and Joey) helped get into the kayak and take off. The waves were small, the ocean was perfect. It was a great day. Thanks, Justin and Laguna Ethos!

Great family activity. Beautiful and relaxing kayaking trip for my husband and I. Our 7 YO son loved seeing the sea lions. It was just the right length of time for him to stay interested and excited the whole time.
