This was a blast! Zipping along the trail with overhanging brush swatting the ATV as we whooshed past felt a bit like being in an off-roading video game. The views were great and the terrain was just challenging enough to be fun without feeling unsafe or anxious.
The ATVs were easy to operate even, for someone like me who had no prior experience. There were just two of us in the vehicle. We saw other parties with 3 and 4. There were about 8-10 ATVs in our group plus one guide leading in the front and one in the rear.
There are two stops, thus three legs of the trip. You can switch drivers each time if you want (as long as they signed disclosure and brought driver's license). If you have someone in your party who is a bit more apprehensive have them drive the third (final) leg of the trip which is the easiest.
There is a "glove compartment" in each vehicle where you can put your phones, keys and water. Yes, you will get dirty and dusty.
The conditions on our ride were great, not very muddy, and we didn't really get thaaat dirty, but this could vary quite a bit based on the weather.
The guides were great, friendly and helpful. This was a fun experience and well worth the time.
