All drivers MUST be at least 18 years of age to operate machines and MUST provide a valid Driver’s License.
Child must be 7 or older to be a passenger. Please select the option for Driver + Child Passenger. Up to two children can ride with one driver.
Each Adult driver and all passengers (Adults & Children) are required to have their own ticket.
Covered closed toe footwear is REQUIRED for all tours.
Guests may get dusty or muddy depending on weather conditions. We recommend guests wear dark clothing or clothing they don’t mind getting stained. Clothing (top and bottom) is required to participate in tour.
Safety Helmets and Goggles are provided by Maui Off Road Adventures and are required for all guests to wear.
No recent surgeries, neck/back/knee problems, pregnant women, or any serious health conditions allowed on tours.
Drivers MUST be over 25 to drive minors under 18.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Our 4x4 excursion with Maui Off-Road Adventures was a blast! It was so much fun as a couples activity, but we saw tons of families with kiddos out there loving it too. This is a great chance to soak up some of the red clay dirt and leave the pavement behind. Our group had about 8 carts and it was great as you stay single file so you are all together, but spaced out enough that you can get some good speed and really enjoy every bump and bounce. We went when it had been dry so a lot of dust would kick up from the cart in front of you, but they give you optional face masks to go under your helmet and it really kept the dust to a manageable level. If it has been raining, I promise you will get muddy! They have sinks at the end to rinse off before you get back in your cars, but your best bet is to not dress fancy and bring some towels. All the carts are equipped with 360° cameras if you want to keep a memory of your trip, and we enjoyed it so we decided to splurge and buy it. The convoy stops twice along the way, allowing the adults to switch drivers if desired, and also to plant a tree which is a nice touch on an island where the balance between nature and tourism can be at odds. 10/10 would do again.

Da best, better than expected! We went on a dusty day, ground a bit more dry and IMO made the ride challenging and exciting. Staff is great, I purchased the ATV onboard video, so good. Do not wear your Sunday’s best, you will get caked in dirt :)
