Lahaina Kayak and Snorkel Excursion

Overview

This west Maui eco adventure starts in the calm waters just south of Lahaina Town. Paddle along calm and shallow waters beneath the towering West Maui Mountains. Snorkel beautiful coral reefs and view tropical reef fish. Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are regular sightings. Occasionally encounter the elusive Monk Seal, Spinner Dolphins, and Eagle Rays. This is an excellent spot for whale watching when in season (Jan-Mar). Tour is located conveniently at our store at 505 Front Street in downtown Lahaina.

It was my first time kayaking and I had a blast. Meredith was a great guide. We saw lots of whale activity too! The snorkeling was amazing.

First, great job Meredith! We came into the shop on a very rainy day and decided not to let a little weather stop us from our paddle. Four of us plus Meredith headed out in a downpour and we were rewarded for our persistence. Suddenly we saw in the distance a mama with her very young calf, they were joined by a large male and put on a show for us. We were honored to watch the interactions of these three beautiful creatures for at least 30 minutes, they kept getting closer and closer. Meredith you are a sweetheart, your authentic love of the whales and knowledge added so much to the experience. When some SUP's saw our show from shore and headed towards us, the whales lined up nose to tail and headed towards us.. then passed under us. Right under. It was an amazing experience I will never forget!
