Lahaina Kayak and Snorkel Excursion

Overview

This west Maui eco adventure starts in the calm waters just south of Lahaina Town. Paddle along calm and shallow waters beneath the towering West Maui Mountains. Snorkel beautiful coral reefs and view tropical reef fish. Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles are regular sightings. Occasionally encounter the elusive Monk Seal, Spinner Dolphins, and Eagle Rays. This is an excellent spot for whale watching when in season (Jan-Mar). Tour is located conveniently at our store at 505 Front Street in downtown Lahaina.

We booked this last minute based on reviews. It was fabulous. So many turtles, plus white tip sharks! Jason took great care of us, and was very knowledgeable about the area, handling the gear, and catering to different comfort levels with the water. Best kayak tour ever!

This was the best tour of our trip. Garrett is an amazing guide. He was knwowledgeable and funny. I felt very safe with him. The 3 hours flew by. We can't recommend them enough. All the staff were very attentive and helpful too. You must do this tour!!

What can I say... This was the most amazing tour my sister and I have ever booked. I wish I never booked the Molokini tour (with another company) and just did the Maui Ocean Sports Kayak and snorkel twice. Our guide, Jason, has the biggest heart in the world and taught us so much about kayaking, snorkelling, Maui, and all the creatures we encountered. We got to see Cecelia the monk seal basking in the sun, tonnes of amazing fish, coral, and more green turtles than I could ever imagine. The trip ended with a visit from a beautiful octopus. Views of the island while kayaking were stunning but Jason was truly the highlight of our tour. If this tour wasn't booked for the last day of our trip we 110% would have booked again just to hang out with Jason out on the water some more. Thank you for being the highlight of our entire trip Jason, we will be back and will re-book with Maui Ocean Sports! Do yourself a favour and skip the Molokini tour and book any (or all) of the tours that Maui Ocean Sports offer :)
