Purchased a sightseeing boat cruise of Lake Michigan, 45 minutes, docking from Navy Pier in Chicago. Viator was very unclear in its communications, email and text, about where the boat was docked and the name of the cruise line was hard to find. We almost missed docking time because the address that Viator provided was wrong. The docking location was farther than the address given at the pier so we had to rush to get to the correct location in time. It was super frustrating and took away from the cruising experience. The cruise line was Shoreline Sightseeing and I’ll purchase from them directly rather than going through Viator next time. Also, the photo that Viator had on its website underneath the cruise that I purchased was not accurate at all. It seems like Viator just took a random stock photo to market the product. The vessel that we actually got on was just okay, not the boat that was pictured when purchasing. Viator is a third-part vendor but it can do a better job of researching the experience they are selling and provide clear information to consumers.

It started raining before we left for the tour and I got rained on because they didn't close the windows before me and other passengers were drenched. Couldn't see the sites because it wasn't clear visibility. Came from Wisconsin my mother and I for a trip to Chicago which ended up underwhelming.
