We did the lake and river tour. Was amazing!! Sights of the city would would definitely not see if you stayed on the shore. Also many fun facts about the city, like who build it, how old, how tall, etc. Our tour guide was super funny and interesting. Hot beverages and cold(alcohol as well) served on the lower deck. It was SO COLD. We weren’t prepared for how cold it was. A few layers. A good scarf and toque. Or a blanket. Is a must!!! We still enjoyed. But would have enjoyed more if we weren’t so cold!

The trip was fun and educational. It talked about historic sites of the city of Chicago. You get to appreciate the beauty of Chicago from the cruise. I would recommend it for anyone visiting the city.

It was a beautiful day, and after finishing up at Museum Park, we decided to take a boat tour. We went with Shoreline Sightseeing. They offered a free taxi to Navy Pier, where the boats dock. We chose the Lake tour. It is basically just a trip up and down the shore for 40 minutes. It is great if you are looking to take photos and selfies with the Chicago skyline. It also has announcements that tell you about the various buildings and attractions that you are passing; they were quite informative. It was a beautiful day and we got some great photos. My only criticism is that they tour was a bit pricy. It should not cost $24 for a quick run around the lake. Also, we were considering the architecture tour, but it was even more. I would recommend it to visitors to Chicago, but natives do have other ways to get out on the lake for far less money.

Thank you for riding with us and providing feedback on the pricing. Our Architecture River Tour is more expensive than the Classic Lake Tour but there is a docent on board and the tour is twice the length as the lake tour.
