What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Picture yourself here in Lake Tahoe with a fantastic guide, a terrific personalized tour, with pictures of memories of your visit to treasure and share with your family, friends and loved ones for a life time. I went on a tour of Lake Tahoe with Keith and had the best afternoon! It was President's Day weekend and he knew all the best spots less crowded to maximize our time and photo opportunities. There is NO way I could of found these places on my own.I was thrilled beyond belief with my photos and the places I was able to visit. Keith is very knowledgeable, personable and very professional who is a incredible professional photographer who will take the most amazing pictures you will absolutely love! I would HIGHLY recommend Tahoe Photographic Tours for your tour of Lake Tahoe. I look forward to going back in the Spring for another tour!

We decided to do the tour after seeing these incredible reviews on tripadvisor and it 100% lived up to it!!! Griffin was our tour guide and he was fantastic-very personable, professional, and an incredible photographer. He gave us great tips on how to use our DSLR camera and took even better shots with his. We had a blast spending the day with him as he gave us a private tour w multiple stops and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the view & even go on a hike. Thanks guys!! Highlight of our trip to Lake Tahoe & unequivocally recommended for all!

My boyfriend and I booked a 3/4 day length tour. TPT were so friendly, flexible, and adaptive to our ski schedule. The day we went on the tour was perfect weather. We enjoyed a short hike, the most picturesque locations, and received invaluable information about the lake and recommendations for restaurants. Mike and Griffin did a great job of teaching me new tricks with my DSLR and just took the most breathtaking pictures for us. We really enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend this company to anyone!
