Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

This was the first time we had been to Lake Tahoe and doing this photographic tour was the highlight of the day! Jason was our guide and he was fun and very down to earth. We enjoyed our time with him and it would have taken us forever to locate some of the places he brought us. The views were breathtaking, and being able to have the photos he took sent to us afterward was awesome! Thank you for this great experience! I would highly recommend Tahoe Photographic Tours if you would like to see beautiful views and beautiful places captured on film!

The highlight of my recent trip to Lake Tahoe was the day I spent with Mike on a full day photo tour around the lake. I am very grateful that the company agreed to honor my reservation as the rest of the individuals who were supposed to be on the tour for some reason cancelled. I had a 1:1 tour and it was fabulous. Mike was professional, knowledgeable and a skilled photographer. The pictures are incredible! Beyond that, he provided me with knowledge about the lake's history and the flora and fauna. He knew the right places to visit and stop to get the amazing pictures. And being from the "flat Midwest", it was wonderful to have him driving around the mountains. I recommend without hesitation this tour and found it to be of incredible value!

This was the best thing we did when we were in Tahoe. From the personal pickup at the resort, through the whole day, to the drop-off our tour could not have been better! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, having been with the U.S. Department of Forestry, and gave us facts about the area, floral and fauna. He had a great sense of time; allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe and the perfect weather. I enjoyed my tour so much that I told our guide I wanted his job! If you are a photographer or just a picture taker, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sound of South Lake Tahoe with the staff of Tahoe Photographic Tours. You will not be disappointed.
