What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Last minute I found this tour on trip advisor. I was out in Tahoe with my parents and we were looking for a way to celebrate my 30th birthday. I found this tour highly recommended, so I called Robin to get a little more information. I ended up booking the tour for the next day. My parents and I had a great day. If you are looking for a way to capture a fabulous time out in Tahoe, this is the way. Mike, our guide picked us up and took us to some to great places, places I don't think I would have found on my own. It was a great way to see Lake Tahoe from the lakes, to the mountains, to the waterfalls, we saw it from all different angles and each moment was captured. Everyone likes to travel, but if you're like me, sometimes you forget to take the pictures that will help you remember your experiance. Mike taught us also a lot about Tahoe as he had experiance working with the Forest Service. The price is well worth it. I just got my CD today of the photos and I had to call Robin to tell her thank you! It was a great day! I would recommend it to all age groups looking to really get out and enjoy Tahoe. Thanks for a great trip!
