What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.
2
Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Itā€™s sad to tell how much this Tahoe Photographic Tours changed so much in years... When I first took this tour with Keith Price 4 years ago. Keith was well prepared, would take us to so many stops, provide all the water/snacks and we got hundreds of photos back within a week. it was a one man shop but it was an incredible tour/experience that I would highly recommended to others. Now the business expanded and the tour/customer service arenā€™t the same anymore. The tour guy would show up late, needs coffee break, then restroom break, then breakfast break, while kept telling you that the tour was running late...? And he would only take us to 3 stops, not many photos were taken, and took almost a month to get our photos backā€¦

Hello, Tahoe Photographic Tours guest. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. I'm extremely sorry that the tour experience fell short of your expectations. Unfortunately when you went on tour due to inclement weather, many of our regular stops were not accessible at that time. your photos were delayed processing due to an extended hospital visit which was unavoidable. Your other input will be thoroughly discussed with all staff members and addressed. Upon your next visit to Lake Tahoe, I will personally take you on a complimentary extended tour, and make sure you receive the type of service you have previously had from Tahoe Photographic Tours. Thank you again for your input, and please contact me whenever you would like to go on your complimentary Tour.

What a wonderful tour! Greg, our guide was very informative and friendly. He didn't mind me asking so many questions about the area, history of Tahoe, and the names of the various places we visited. We have been to Tahoe over a half dozen times and because my husband doesn't like heights or mountain driving, I end up driving and never really get a chance to take my eyes off the road. When I pull over to check out the view or something, he gets very nervous....so needless to say having Greg drive and take us to places I have never been before was a spectacular event for me! I took some super great pictures that capture the beauty of the Tahoe area. Spendid is all I can say about the tour and the experience to see (up close) what makes Tahoe so special...I'm going back next year! Susan from San Antonio, Texas
