What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Delayed once because my wife got ill after New Years we were extremely disappointed to recieve a call Friday morning from Robin saying the forecast is stormy and not the best day most likely for pictures or being out. We had a room that was paid for so I told her we would be in town the next morning and ready just in case we get a "Miracle Morning". After staying up until almost 4 am (because it takes a long time to give the casino ALL of your money) we were surprised to get a call at 8:15 saying it's beautiful out and Greg will be there in about an hour to start the Tour! The frantic rush to be ready was worth it. The day was miraculous. Georgeous scenery, cool crisp bright sunny weather and interesting and knowledgable conversation. Greg got us to several good locals that were not unkown but out of the way where he took great pictures of us and we got great pictures of the special places we were. All together we were out about 5 hours and enjoyed every minute. Could have used some waters or snacks on board but that might be because we had no time for breakfast before we got out. We will be back again to experiance another miracluous day at Tahoe, probably in the Fall.

I first had my first Tahoe Photographic Tour about four years ago. My wife and I were staying at our Marriott's time share. I have seen most of Tahoe from time to time. Well their was a flyer abut Tahoe Photographic Tours in the Marriott's my lucky day. Called and booked a tour for the very next day. Keith arrived at around 9AM with some other members of the tour. This turned out to be some of the most fun ever for me. Keith took several of us to places in and around Tahoe that I had never seen.. His knowledge of Lake Tahoe, and fantastic personality made for a wonderful photography and fond memories of the year. Fast forward to this October 22, 2012.. I needed to find Tahoe Photograph Tours one more time. Well this was even more fun that the last time. Went to all new locations that were not seen on the last tour, and we had snow lots of snow !! Got some very nice images. Well guess what I just had to do this again. Can not say enough good things about Keith and his tours. They think of everything. They even had cold weather clothing and show shoes. All this was included in the price of the tour. This trip was January 6, 2013 The photo opportunities and locations again were the greatest. Hope to do this again Barton

Whether you have never been to the Tahoe area or have been many times, Tahoe Photographic Tours is a great way to see different areas of Tahoe and take photos of the incredible beauty that exists in this gem. A bonus of the Tours is that you will receive a CD of pictures that your guide takes at every location that includes beautiful scenic shots of Tahoe and also of you and/or your group. I have taken the Tour several times, and if you are a serious photographer, request a Tour with Keith Price and let him know what you are looking for in the experience. When I went out with Keith solo, we hit it off right away, and we spent the entire day taking as much time as needed/wanted in every location to get the great shots. My most recent visit included another guest from Australia, and we had a great time albeit a bit nippy. Again, we had more than ample time to experience our locations and share the beauty of Lake Tahoe. I highly recommend this Tour for any level photographer and for every type of visitor to the area.
