Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

I've been on 2 tours with this company and have never been dissatisfied with any aspect of the trips. Keith, the owner, goes out of his way to make each tour a fantastic and rewarding experience. I am an ameteur photography and Keith was nice enough to help give me tips on what settings to use when taking shots of many of the beautiful sights of Lake Tahoe. I highly recommend this business.

My husband and two sons recently booked this tour, with Mike as their guide. What service!. To begin with, they were picked up at the home we rented. They were joined by one other couple so the one on one experience was incredible. The six hour tour was definitely worth it. Mike took them to sites that were not on the "beat and path," and his choices showcased the beautiful landscape of South Lake Tahoe. It was an adventurous tour, but was perfect for these first time hikers. We received a CD with over 100 pictures of their tour, and several memorable photos of the guys.. My daughter and I regret that we missed it. Thank you, Mike - for your enthusiasm, your professionalism, and making this a definite number one highlight of our first time in Tahoe! Your photographic advice resulted in gorgeous pictures my sons took. I guess we need to go back in the winter!

Keith, the owner of Tahoe Photographic Tours, was exceptionally helpful prior to the tour in getting me set up with the perfect lens for my Canon camera. Keith is very knowlegable on everything Canon as well as all the best photo sites in Tahoe. He has great guides on staff who have at their disposable the best equipment for photographing. Even if you don't have your own camera you'll walk away with great photos taken by a professional photographer, each individually checked and (if required) enhanced by Keith or his staff and delivered free of charge to your home on a DVD. We went out with myself and a girlfriend, her 13 year old daughter, and my 6 year old daughter. We each had a blast taking photos, being photographed, and seeing all the great sites of Lake Tahoe. I'd recommend it for couples, friends, groups, and families. It's a great way to start off a trip to Lake Tahoe or if you only have a day or two. It's also a great price for family/friends/group photos!!!
