Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Though a growing family has limited our annual treks to Lake Tahoe, the first thing we always schedule is Keith Price's Photographic Tour. We book early in our week, to get our bearings on the beauty of Tahoe, and it guarantees we'll have gorgeous family photos of our trip. I believe we've had the same guides / photographers all three times we've been and since we keep going back, we've got stunning photos chronicling the growth of our family. Sure, it's not cheap, but we keep going back for a number of reasons but namely; the photos last a lifetime; the photos are always gorgeous; and the guys that have taken us out could not be nicer. Consider the cost of family photos? Now, imagine those family photos taken in amazing locations? Seems worth it and as someone who's paid for a number of professional headshots (always in a studio), the price is more than reasonable. Wonderful warm people, showing you around their home town. That's really what it's like. Imagine if you had great friends in Lake Tahoe and whenever you come to town, they happily drive you around to some of their favorite, most beautiful places to show off the home that they love. Now, add that they are accomplished photographers who will provide you with a DVD of amazing photos after your trip. They'd fast become your most favorite Tahoe friends and that's why we book with Keith Price Photographic Tours every time we visit Tahoe. Don't mean to gush, but we truly love these tours and I will make special note when we return again this fall to get everyone's name right, so I can include them in my next review. Hoping to see some bears this fall! P.S. (I marked Sept 2011, but really I think we made our last trip in April of 2010. I just couldn't select that and I'm writing this review as we're making plans for our next trip)

Keith took me on a private tour to some of the most photogenic spots around Lake Tahoe.I spent about 8 hours with him, and it was terrific. Keith was very fun to be with, and helped me with my camera settings, and getting the right composition and exposure. One night he couldn't go with because of an illness; however, he led me by phone to a very beautiful photographic site where I was the only one there. Keith is a true professional, very knowledgeable on both Lake Tahoe and Photography. His pictures are truly amazing. I highly recommend him for either a private or group tour.
