What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

We recently took Keith Price's breathtaking tour of S. Lake Tahoe. We had debated to take the tour of not because of a recent knee injury, but we are so glad we did! We would not have seen a fraction of Tahoe otherwise. We have been to Tahoe before, but never have experienced the Tahoe Keith showed us with such enthusiasm and knowledge. Keith and Robin are such warm and friendly people that we felt we were amongst friends, and they were very sensitive to my injury. We would highly recommend his tour to everyone, and have already told friends about it.

Our group of four travelers booked a half-day photo tour during our week at Lake Tahoe. Definitely do this toward the beginning of your stay, because it will orient you to the area and help highlight other things to see and do the rest of the week. Our tour guide, Mike G., was knowledgeable and fun, taking us to places we would never have found on our own. The photographers in our group got great shots and Mike took pictures throughout, which we look forward to receiving. If you are not a "tour person", not to worry, this is not a canned tour - it is a very small group (6 maximum) outing that caters to your own interests. Thanks, Mike, we loved it!

Our tour started at 9am, picked up from our hotel by Robin the awesome tour guide. Next 5 hours of the most amazing places and history of Lake Tahoe. She also took a bunch of pictures of us and the surrounding beauty which she will send then to us as a DVD. Can't wait to see them in a couple weeks. Today was an amazing day. Thank you Jesus for such a beautiful creation, for Tahoe Photography Tours.
