Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

I actually live in the area and had my son visiting - so I thought I might try a local Photo Service to help my son get some pictures - he is a photo bug. They showed my son and I places that I didn't even know how to get too. They have access to areas that the general public may not. I would certainly recommend these guys if you want to get some great shots around the Lake and Lake Tahoe area.

My wife and I have now been to Lake Tahoe twice - and on our most recent trip in March we signed up for the Tahoe Photographic Tour. Our guide Greg picked us up promptly and took us to several locations in South Lake Tahoe that were absolutely breathtaking. Although my wife brought our camera - Greg took professional photos using his camera of all the scenery and many shots of my wife and I together with ice-covered waterfalls, shimmering lakes and drop dead gorgeous scenery. Greg also gave us a history of the area, stopped with us for lunch and helped us with the snowshoes he brought for us to get to the secluded spots. It was the best 5 hours we spent during our stay in Tahoe. I have traveled the World - and there are not many excursions that match this one.

I visited lake Tahoe during Valentine's day week with my fiance. It was cold, and there was snow everywhere. It was only my second time on the snow, and my first time in Lake Tahoe, so I wanted to do something that would allow me to do a lot of sightseeing but was not dangerous. I did not have the money to spend on the tour, but looking back, it was totally worth it. My fiance and I are very happy about doing this tour. Our guide (Mike G) was very knowledgeable about the area, and I felt safe even when I walked on virgin snow. The company provided snow boots for both my fiance and I, and we even took a lunch breach in the middle of the woods. The day was phenomenal! I was scared the pictures were going to be bad, but they were perfect, we are thinking about framing some of them and displaying them at our wedding reception.
