What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

We have a house in Tahoe and thought we'd done about everything the area has to offer until we found Keith's photo tour. He is warm & funny with stories to fill in the ride between locations. I learned more from him in the tour than I did in a class. He only gives advice when asked so if you don't have a camera then don't worry....it's still worth it! Suzy from Incline

This tour will be the highlight of your trip. We plan to return to Lake Tahoe again, but this time we will select a different time of the year. The scenery is breathtaking and Keith knows all the best places to take you so that you realize the maximum beauty of the region. And, he's lived there 40 years and can tell you all the local history and folklore.

First of all we must say, Keith Price gives a memorable tour. It's true...his passion clearly shines through when he guides you along the very best kept secrets of Lake Tahoe! From the moment we arrived his friendliness and excitement was conatgious. He even provided nutritional snacks and water along for the many activities we would participate in. You don't even have to worry about a camera; he takes plenty pictures of everything. Best of all, we never felt rushed. We're so happy to have signed up! My favorite highlight of the tour was when our group came apon a black bear. Wow, talk about excitement....it was amazing. Keith was all over the moment as he was pratically face-to-face with the bear. He explains before the tour...at any givin time...be ready for anything. He enclosed some amazing shots from that scene and many more fantastic views in the personalized cd mailed to us complimentary. You can't go wrong signing up for Keith's tour. You get an opportunity of a lifetime--a chance to see mother nature's beauty at its best. This truly talented photographer/tour guide gurantees quality like nothing else and I can literally say that without spoiling any more of it for you.
