What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

I've carried my DSLR on several trips but on this quick weekend trip to Lake Tahoe I left it at home. This was my first time to Tahoe and we just wanted to see some views that we likely wouldn't see on our own. Rosie did not disappoint. I did not realize they would be taking photographs as well (husband booked trip, i'm sure he knew) so we wound up with spectacular photos of our weekend getaway and I was not hiding in the viewfinder the whole time. The images were far better than what I would have captured had I brought my good camera. I wish something like this was available on all our vacations!!

loved it would do it again any time in the area he gave great detai and attention. the pics were a bonus we got to walk on trails and see areas we wouldnt have known existed

My husband and I made our first trip to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We spent our first full day with Keith, learning the lay of the land and taking incredible photos of the lake and Hope Valley which was at peak color. Keith is so personable and really knows the area. We were so lucky to have a private tour with him. The entire experience was fantastic and the photos he gave us afterward are priceless.
