What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

This tour exceeded my expectations! Keith Price is such a knowledgeable and passionate photographer. I have visited Lake Tahoe many times and have never been able to capture the beauty like Keith did. The pictures he took and provided us were spectacular. His knowledge of Lake Tahoe enriched the experience. Looking forward to booking another tour this winter. Thank you Keith and Robin!

This tour was over the top. Keith made our trip so much more memorable with his knowledge of the area and his passion to help you see the beauty of Lake Tahoe. His service was outstanding from his prompt resort pickup, welcoming attitude and personal touch with his photography ( which his pictures are incredible). He made sure he captured our proposal with the perfect scenery behind us. Breath taking ! He made it such a wonderful experience that we are looking in to a return trip. I feel so blessed to have met both Keith and Robin. Thank you both for making our trip outstanding.

Jim picked me and one other person up and off we went to explore! Jim planned our day based upon our experience level with our cameras and catered our tour with our input in mind. We left early and visited Emerald Bay before the crowds and took our time with many different photo opportunities. We went to an Aspen forest, had a picnic lunch at an abandoned ranch, and Jim assisted us with using our cameras and our imagination! He was very experienced and helpful! I would do this tour again in a heart beat and would recommend it to anyone!
