What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Tahoe Photographic Tours is a spectacular experience. My wife Jessica and I were fortunate enough to go out with owner/operator Keith Price. Keith is simply the kindest, warmest and most sincere person/guide you could imagine. His knowledge of the Lake is the "real deal" and he is a great storyteller. Can't say enough nice things about the entire time with spent with Keith. Also, the photography workshop portion was remarkable as he is both a knowledgeable and patient teacher. Wonderful way to experience one of the most beautiful places on earth...really. Steve and Jessica

We recently visited Lake Tahoe and found this tour. Rating this tour as a excellent doesn't say enough. Keith was our tour guide and he is great. As a photographer, I can say that our tour included some of the most beautiful sites that I have ever seen let alone photographed. It was great to be able to see some of the most beautiful places that Lake Tahoe has to offer. There is no way to know about these places without such a guide. Additionally we received a wonderful history lesson about the entire city and all the places we saw. I ended up taking over 1000 pictures on this tour with Keith. With the help of Keith, I have several pictures that are gallery worthy. Let me add that Keith took some great pictures of my wife and I along with many other scenic pictures that we received. Whether you are a professional photographer, a cell phone photographer, or someone who simply wants to see the best of Lake Tahoe, don't miss this tour. This was a total class act tour where not a moment was wasted. If you visit Lake Tahoe, simply said this is a must tour. You can't go wrong, and you will see the best sights, that only Keith can show you.

It was our first time visiting Lake Tahoe and we planned the tour early on in the trip so that we could familiarise ourselves with the beaches, view points an surrounding areas as we would then go back by ourselves to the very special places. Keith was an amazing guide, extremely knowlegable about the whole area and provided some really good photography tips for myself who is a novice with the camera. The traffic was heavy over the labour day weekend and couldn't manage to get around all the places but Keith arranged to take us out again a couple of days later and took us to Sand Harbour, this place is spectacular for photos and we returned later on in the trip by ourselves. Keith provided lots of excellent photos, ones we will cherish always, superb quality and service. Don't hesitate to book this tour you will not be disappointed.
