Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

My boyfriend and I cannot speak highly enough of our time with our tour guide, Jim. Jim was incredibly friendly, conversational and more importantly - took beautiful pictures and was super informative. We learned so much on our trip about the history of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas. Jim even gave us valuable advice for our trip to Yosemite that we were going on in the next few days. We were super grateful for the tips and it was obvious that Jim goes above and beyond for the clients of this tour. Although we spent a few days in the Lake Tahoe area, this tour was the jewel of our trip. It was an unbelievable way to experience the area, see things we wouldn't have otherwise seen, and learn a lot. I cannot wait to get our professional pictures back! Based on just the pictures on my phone, I know they will be great. Thank you so much for a once in a lifetime experience!

I can't say enough positive things about Keith! The tour with him was the highlight of my trip to Tahoe. He is truly one of the nicest, most knowledgeable men who is passionate about photography and Lake Tahoe. He went above and beyond what I expected, taking me to the most beautiful spots around the lake that I never would have discovered on my own. He shared a great deal of history and nostalgia about the area which was so interesting. He helped me tremendously and has offered to edit pictures and explain the editing process to me. The pictures are beyond belief! He has an amazing connection to wildlife which was fascinating to hear about. I want to return to Tahoe just to have another chance to spend the day exploring the beautiful surroundings with Keith. His wife Robin was lovely too. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting Tahoe.
