What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

We booked this in hopes of seeing some unique areas of South Lake Tahoe and Max really delivered. Our experience and tour was more than we could've imagined. The scenery is incredible and our pictures really showcase it. Thank you so much for the experience! We will be back to Lake Tahoe, without a doubt.

I booked this as I wanted to get in some sights of Tahoe without having to spend hours researching and driving and it fulfilled that expectation. The weather was supposed to turn nasty on my scheduled tour date, so they moved me up to the day before. It was myself, a couple, and another single lady and there was plenty of room for us in the car and time to take in the sights. I never felt rushed and was able to see Emerald Bay, Glen Alpine Falls, Lily Lake, Kiva Beach, and the salmon at Taylor Creek. We might have been able to do one more stop, but got stuck in road work. We turned that into a positive though and took the 45 minute road break to photograph some gorgeous pines. All in all, well worth the money spent and I would have no problem recommending this to anyone who enjoys scenery and photography.
