What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

This trip was one of the best I ever went on.Keith is very knowledgeable and a good person.He narrated some of great stories on our tour.He took us to places which were “hidden gems”.Must do trip if in Lake Tahoe!

The booking was super easy and convenient, Keith and Robin were fabulous! Keith is one of the most passionate people we’ve ever met! Amazing pictures from both Tahoe hotspots and some from more private, lesser-known, but equally beautiful areas. My (now) fiancé set up a surprise proposal with Keith and Robin and it couldn’t have been more unique or special! We will definitely be coming back to this photography tour and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, unique experience! Nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and the time we had exploring with them!

We did a 1/2 day tour today with Keith (went for much longer than 1/2 day). This would have to be the best value tour I have ever done, traveling with my 18 year old son and his 18 year old friend, all three of us took the tour and we were joined by only one other person, Keith has lots of information on the history of the area and great knowledge of the places to get great photos, he was a great help to us ensuring we used the best techniques to get the best photos every time. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough
